Construction On Ramp Program: Job Training for Youth
The Construction on Ramp (COR) program is a FREE job readiness training that introduces San Francisco residents aged 17-24 to the construction industry, giving them the proper knowledge to enter and succeed in the sector.
The next cycle is running from April 17 - April 22, 2023, with six sessions: four virtual sessions, one tour of a construction site and one in-person outdoor sessions where students train with VR (Virtual Reality) headsets and beginners hands-on construction training!

Who’s Eligible?
Any San Francisco resident ages 17-24!
By participating in the COR Program, participants are introduced to the construction industry, career exploration opportunities, and ultimately, the CityBuild Academy.
The job training program brings together four nonprofits: Brightline, Community Youth Center of San Francisco, A. Philip Randolph Institute, and Mission Hiring Hall.

What do participants learn?
A broad introduction to construction trades
Professional development through job readiness training
A hybrid of hands-on construction training and virtual reality construction modules
Participants attend two guest speaker panels: professionals in the industry and COR alumni who are in or graduated from CBA
