In December 2021, Brightline Executive Director Eddie Ahn will be inducted into the California’s Clean Energy Hall of Fame. This award was established by the California Energy Commission (CEC), the state’s primary energy policy and planning agency, and the CEC’s Hall of Fame recognizes the lasting contributions of individuals and organizations who are California’s leaders for clean energy and equity.
The California Energy Commission has produced a video that follows Eddie’s work over 12 years as well as Brightline’s commitment to frontline communities and the environmental justice movement.
In December 2021, San Francisco Examiner also covered more of our work and profiled Eddie as well!
Eddie is being honored amongst other energy and climate champions including Dr. Peter A. Lehman of the Schatz Energy Research Center, Nicole Capretz of Climate Action Campaign, Abigail Solis of Self-Help Enterprises, Mutual Housing California, and Communities for a Better Environment’s Youth for Environmental Justice.
