MISSION
We promote sustainability and opportunity in under-served communities in the Bay Area through policy advocacy and partnerships. We protect and empower communities in need by advancing environmental justice, ensuring job creation, and advocating for affordable and sustainable housing.
PROGRAMS
Our environmental justice, renewable energy, green jobs, and local hiring programs have kept power plants - and their pollutants - out of low-income communities, created hundreds of local jobs to benefit local communities, and led organizations to increase their workforce diversity. And we're just getting started.
TEAM
The BRIGHTLINE team is composed of legal experts, policy advocates, communication specialists, community organizers, volunteers, and a board of directors committed to the empowerment of traditionally under-served communities in local neighborhoods, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond.
